Parks
The private, green five acre park behind 165 West End Avenue is a sanctuary of nature and escape. We just call it "the backyard" . It is place where we create and share memories with our neighbors, family and friends, where my children have their birthday parties and playdates after school or just a place to get outside and relax. The park is completely private and locked, only accessible by Lincoln Tower residents and their guests. The park includes 6 basketball courts, a regulation roller hockey rink, benches and picnic tables, grass fields for ball playing, picnicking or sunbathing, and a newist and best playground in town. Where else in Manhattan can you let children play outside by themselves, knowing that they safe and supervised.
There are several other, smaller park settings situated throught the 20 acre Lincoln Tower campus. There are benches and dozens and dozens of mature trees surrounding all 6 buildings.
